My room was very cozy, but the parking was a bit of a hassle.

i was utterly disappointed with my stay. my small room was dark and stuffy from roof scaffolding—the view was just sad windows. not to mention, i expected a complimentary upgrade for the inconvenience but clearly that’s too much to ask. i almost thought to leave a good review but just couldn’t. quite a letdown, honestly.

The stay was great! My room was super clean and cozy. The showers were really nice. Breakfast here is the best way to start your day—full English is a must. Great hospitality from Celine and her family made it even more enjoyable. 😊

Ask for a room away from scaffolding for better daylight and airflow during your stay.

my stay was truly enjoyable, with the warm hospitality from Celine and her family leaving a lasting impression, and the full English breakfast served across the road at the Island Hotel was a delicious start to each day, fueling my walks to nearby Nobles Park, just an easy 1 km stroll away, and Douglas Bay, which is only around 800 meters away, perfect for taking in the stunning views while walking through this charming city.

great hospitality but some minor hiccups
The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived early by yacht. They quickly prepared a room for us at 12pm, which was greatly appreciated. The taxi service they arranged for our early morning departure was also seamless. the breakfast options were satisfying and set a positive tone for the day.
The location is central yet finding parking at times proved to be a little challenging.

The accommodation offers a decent size room with an electric kettle, tea, coffee, and biscuits. perfect for a cozy night in after exploring. The full English breakfast was top-notch and filling, a solid way to kick off a day in town.
Unfortunately, my small double room was marred by a lack of a sea view—just a bunch of surrounding building windows that made the curtains a necessity. I also found the bathroom quite cramped, making it a bit of a hassle, and my room was up several flights of stairs, which could be a concern for those not in peak shape.
